first because...well...it's FRIDAY. yes yes yes.
second because we celebrated our 10 year wedding anniversary yesterday.
well, we're actually celebrating this weekend. No definite plans except for a nice dinner at Simon's.
J wants me to keep the weekend free for spontaneous jaunts out and about.
he knows we'll have lot's of sunshine so he wants to hunt for good photo ops for me.

third because I'm expecting a big box of creative goodness from Studio Calico today.
We're highly anticipating this round with it being December and the release of Studio Calico'sfirst line, Home Front. I'm hearing good things from those who have received their goods already. The wait is killing me! But at least I'll have my box for the weekend when inspiration is at it's peak for me.
Remember, Home Front will only be available at your local scrapbook store so be sure to ask your lss if you're wanting the line.

I love this. A working gal out on a photo jaunt. Perhaps on her lunch break? One of my favorite things to do on my lunch break is to head out, camera in hand and getting lost for an hour. It's refreshing and a nice break from the office.

what a week.
I'm sure glad it's over. Love an extended holiday weekend but it makes for a busy work week.
On to what this girl is loving right this very moment.

Furry monstrous creatures.

I would have loved, absolutely loved being the photographer on this set. The light and muted tones look insanely beautiful. I hate to fall into the hype about this loved/hated children's book turned uber cool directed Spike Jones movie but I do really want to see it on the big screen. My heart pitter patters everytime I see the previews. Now if I could convince my dear husband to take me. :)

pie making is daunting to me but these little cuties seem easy to make. I'd probably omit the sticks and make them as little cookies....I may have to do these for our holiday cookie swap at the office. or just to munch on while I catch up grey's via online and scrap.

I don't feel like working on anything too crucial today at the office. Fridays are usually spent cleaning out my in box, filing away emails and getting freight out the door. Everyone is in their joyful "thank goodness it's friday" moods. My coffee is nice and strong and my music is blasting to drown out the receptionists easy listening station.
Things are good. Why is my outlook on life always so positive at the end of the week?
Guess things are just that way when you're a creative working a very non-creative job. But let's not get into the job convo. Not today.
Now onto girl loves.

fridays, of course.
even though I apparently forgot to set the alarm and over-slept.
wasn't late for work though, even had time to stop at starbucks.
eyes are little more puffy than usual but whatevs.
it's friday and nothing is going to bring my mood down.
not even my coworker who called in sick for the umpteenth time.
or the fact that my coffee cake was a little stale.
or my other coworker who was apparently offended by the fact that I didn't want to book or buy
the beaded jewelry she's starting to sell.
I'm really getting tired of all these different "parties". I don't mind supporting some one
if I like the product but I don't wear a watch let alone a big beaded one.
I don't wear Cabi clothes or don't think that Pampered Chef is any better then the kitchen stuff
I buy at a local retailer.
I hope I'm not offending you if you do sell any of these items.
But I don't like some one trying to sell me something I'm just not into.
I always kindly pass the first time I'm asked but when I'm constantly nagged, I get agitated.
hmph. guess this subject has put a slight damper in my day.
well, that's done now.

friday love, a tad late.

 

knocked off work early friday to spend the day with my pops. the drive was beautiful and exhilarating. windy roads, the sun beaming through forest trees, fields of wildflowers. perfect way to end the week.

hope your weekend is going well. now I'm off to continue mine.

'roid week 09 has been a lot of fun. finding film, not so much. the polaroids are going to slow way down as with all my spending but let's not get into that right now.
watched rachel getting married or gets married, I can't remember. boring. I like anne hathaway but i felt as though I wasted 3 hours of my life watching that movie. how is benji buttons? anyone? worth the watch or no?

anyhoozle....I'm a mixed bag of emotions this week. I tend to get this way around mothers day and knowing that clomid is my near future, it's been a weird week. Not the depressing blah blah blah emotions. No, not going there at all. I'm actually taking this a lot better than I have in the past. A constant supply of good&plentys has helped. Got to just keep truckin'. I hate that term but that's where I'm at. Really, that's all we can do.

We got a little rain this week and now everything's gone green. It's beautiful out and all I want to do is hang outside with my camera which is exactly what I plan on doing when I get out of this office.
